The Challenge

Clifford Regenbaum, the founder of "Triggermessage," and the agency Flow Communications had an already established and functioning platform. I was given the opportunity to contribute to the project by focusing on its optimization. The goal was to enhance the system's capabilities to handle Facebook Meta's business messaging, improve data visibility through reporting, and refine the architecture for better long-term stability.

Our Solution

I assisted in developing specific modules and optimizing the existing codebase. My contributions included: - Migrating messaging infrastructure to Facebook Meta’s WhatsApp Business API to reduce costs. - Developing a Daily Reporting UI to provide clear insights into system metrics. - Implementing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to enhance platform security. - Utilizing Laravel's service providers to refactor and streamline core business logic. - Performing database administration and query optimizations to improve performance. - upgrading the general UI for a more intuitive user experience. The development focused on enhancing the application's utility using Laravel, React, and MySQL.

Results & Impact

The migration to the WhatsApp Business API successfully lowered operating costs for the platform. The introduction of the Daily Reporting UI provided necessary transparency for day-to-day management. Today, the application functions as a stable, low-maintenance environment, validating the optimizations and structural improvements made during the collaboration.
